Saturday night both our Open Men’s and Men’s Reserve teams took to the court in preparation for the 2016 National titles in Melbourne. Played in front of a great and excited Shepparton Crowd, the guys took every opportunity to showcase their skills prior to the pre-season match between the Melbourne Vixens and Adelaide Thunderbirds.
 

 
The clash was also a chance to launch our new playing gear, with thanks to Blackchrome for the amazing new attire. The boys are really excited and cant wait to wear it proudly during the national championships later this month.
 

 
The opportunity to play the match gives both teams the chance to prepare and play in front of a crowd and perform under the pressures in which we only experience on a national’s Grand Final day.
 

 
The match was a wonderful display of netball with both teams getting every player on court and the Open’s team getting up by 24. VMNL would like to thank Netball Victoria for this amazing invitation.
