Victorian Trial Dates Confirmed
Trials for all Victorian state netball teams will be held throughout August and early September this year.
Trials for Open Men’s and the High Performance Squad (for those on the fringes of Open’s selection) will kick trials off on Friday August 10th, and, like last, will trial separately to the other divisions. Juniors, Mixed, U23s and Men’s Reserves will then follow in late August and early September.
Teams selected will compete in the 2019 Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Championships, to be held in Melbourne over Easter, from Sunday 21st to Saturday 27th April, 2019 at the Casey Stadium, 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne.

Each team will be selected by the respective coach and a selection panel. Please do not wear State/Aus representative uniform.
Dates, times and locations for all trials can be found below. Please arrive during the registration time. Triallists are required to attend all selection sessions. If you are not able to attend, you must submit an apology to vmnl.netball@gmail.com
Open Men’s:
- Trial #1: Friday August 10th, Registration opens: 6:30pm / Trials: 7pm – 9pm at Yarra Valley Grammar, Kalinda Road, Ringwood
- Trial #2: Friday August 24th, Registration opens: 6:30pm / Trials: 7pm – 9pm at Yarra Valley Grammar, Kalinda Road, Ringwood
Mixed (Open Mixed and Reserve Mixed):
- Trial #1: Sunday August 26th, Registration opens: 8:30am / Trials: 9am – 11am at Nets Stadium Banyule, 2 Somers Avenue, Macleod
- Trial #2: Friday September 7th, Registration opens: 5:30pm / Trials: 6pm – 8pm at Yarra Valley Grammar, Kalinda Road, Ringwood
- Trial #3: Sunday September 9th, Registration from 8:30am / Trials: 9am – 11am at Nets Stadium Banyule, 2 Somers Avenue, Macleod
Men’s Reserves (Reserve 1 and Reserve 2) and U23s:
- Trial #1: Sunday August 26th, Registration opens: 10:30am / Trials: 11am – 1pm at Nets Stadium Banyule, 2 Somers Avenue, Macleod
- Trial #2: Friday September 7th, Registration opens: 7:30pm / Trials: 8pm – 10pm at Yarra Valley Grammar, Kalinda Road, Ringwood
- Trial #3: Sunday September 9th, Registration from 10:30am / Trials: 11am – 1pm at Nets Stadium Banyule, 2 Somers Avenue, Macleod
