Applications now open for VMMNA Sports Trainers for the 2021 AMMNA Championships

Applications are now open for SPORTS TRAINERS for the 2021 Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Championships, to be held in Adelaide over Easter, April 4 – April 11, 2021.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of Australia’s best men’s and mixed netballers, especially as Victoria is the most successful state in the history of the Championship!

You will be responsible for acute soft tissue injury management, pre-game preparation and post- game recovery, identification of injuries which require players to be removed from the court and escalating to appropriate medical assessment where necessary. Crucial to your success in this role will be your ability to work under pressure in a large team, underpinned by good communication with players, coaches, team managers, other sports trainers and a sports physiotherapist.

Prior to the Championships, you will be required to attend the annual VMMNA Round Robin in March of 2021, as well as some additional training sessions (if possible). During the Championships, you will be required to assist players before and after each game, whilst being present as the primary carer during each game.

For more details, including about remuneration, see the Position Description below or click the Apply Now button to apply.

If you feel you do not quite meet the eligibility criteria, however feel you can fulfil the requirements of the role, please submit your application so that it can be considered for further discussion.
