Today, we launch our #VICtorious campaign.
As a founding member of the Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association in 1985, the Victorian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (VMMNA) have enjoyed an incredible history.
From humble beginnings to the powerhouse it is today, Victoria are by far the most-successful state in Australian Championship history, claiming over 100 titles since the inaugural tournament some 36 years ago in Geelong.
Victoria are also the only state to have competed at every Australian Championships.
Our success is not just measured by what happens on court, but by the hard work, passion and dedication of its people behind the scenes – our committee, umpires, volunteers, friends, family and fans.
As we look forward to the 2021 Australian Championships in South Australia this July, it is an appropriate time to unveil our new campaign, ahead of our state team announcements over the coming week.
#VICtorious encapsulate all that we are.
Fittingly, it incorporates the first three letters of our home state – a reminder that it is about the collective, all of “us”. Not just our teammates or squad at large but pays due respect to the giants before our time who paved the way.
It acknowledges our past as being the most-successful state across the history of the Australian Championships.
Importantly, it underlies our ambition – to continue to strive for excellence across all pillars of the sport and our winning ways at the pinnacle national event.
We are proud to represent our state.
We acknowledge our winning past.
Our aspiration for the future.
We are #VICtorious.
