Congratulations to our entire VMMNA Community (and especially the legends listed below!) as we not only achieved our target of $8k, but raised a total of $11,584!

A huge thank you to the team at Movember Australia for supporting our inaugural Movember Round last week along with our friends at Netball Victoria, Draft Central and Melbourne Sports Centres/SNHC.

Below is the final leaderboards and a special mention to the teams from Doncaster & Districts Netball Association, Geelong Netball Club and Valley Wolves!

And with 36% of the vote, Matthew Blomeley was crowned best mo!

While the hairy month has come to an end, Movember will continue to accept donations. Just head to their website if you still want to donate!

More than the moustaches that were grown, distances moved and funds raised, VMMNA hopes that we can truly create an environment where boys and men feel comfortable talking about the health issues they face, how they are feeling and being safe and supported enough to make themselves vulnerable.

These conversations break down stigmas and, in so many cases, can change and save lives – which is what Movember is all about and something VMMNA wholeheartedly supports!
