With the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19 and the most recent Government advice, the VMMNA Committee has met this morning in order to discuss our options regarding the pandemic.

Like other associations and sporting bodies, we are taking this very seriously and our prime concern is the health and safety of our players and support staff.

The AMMNA Executive and each State President are meeting this week to discuss options of how best to proceed.

This may mean the tournament continues, the tournament is postponed, or the tournament is cancelled.

This decision has not yet been made.

A decision and outcome are expected late in the week and we will inform our members of this at the earliest possible time.

I understand there will be a lot of questions and speculation occurring, please be patient with us whilst we await AMMNA’s decision, as we will be better equipped to give you the facts once we know what we are working with.

In the meantime, our primary focus will remain what is best for our playing group and for all intents and purposes, it is business as usual for our squad whilst being aware, but not alarmed.
