We are pleased to announce the Victorian coaches and managers who will lead our teams at the 2020 AMMNA Championships in Adelaide.
For the first time in VMMNA’s 34 year history, we have appointed a Head Coach in Christina Puopolo.
Christina’s resume is simply outstanding and VMMNA are so fortunate to have someone so skilled and experienced in both a Head Coach and Open Men’s coach capacity.
A former Assistant Coach at the Melbourne Phoenix (now Vixens), former Head Coach of Vic U19s and U17s teams, Christina was also a Head Coach of state league clubs Vic Churches, Ariels and Yarra Valley Grammar Ariels between 1997-2017 and was instrumental in Ariels gaining a Victorian Netball League licence.
More recently she has been the Open Men’s coach since 2010 and has led Victoria to the National Championship 5 times (2010-2013, 2016). She is also the current Australian Sonix Men’s coach leading Australia to a clean sweep of the 2018 Trans Tasman Cup against New Zealand.
In this new role, Christina will oversee and lead our entire squad and provide valuable input to our pathways, structures and preparation for Nationals.
